Masa Taqueria was born out of a desire to maintain and promote quality Mexican food in Calgary. Daily tasks involving careful handmade processes, rigorous tasting protocols, and continual attention to detail have elevated Masa to a brand recognized for its quality and taste.

Our initial challenge was to rename and reposition Masa Taqueria (formerly Con Mi Taco) as a high quality product with an accessible price point and style. This led us to a brand harkening back to the rawness of Mexico, combined with the attitude and culture of an up and coming city, brining ancient care, techniques and quality into a fast paced, lively environment.

Masa Taqueria acts as a beacon for a unified experience, a two sided coin where although not immediately evident, the quality of the cuisine shines through every aspect of the trendy, lighthearted manner in which the food is served. Cure was responsible for bridging the gap, blending old with new to make a brand truly representative of the 21 century.
